Silent Labyrinth Walk
March 15, 2020 @ 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm$10
Join me for a potent, silent walk to and through the beautiful labyrinth at Sticks and Stones Farm in Newtown. The power of the group will be to hold space and witness one another.
We will meet at the stone barn at 12:30 PM. Before we head out, I will provide a grounding introduction and explain the focus of this labyrinth walk and what it means to be in silence. After we each walk the labyrinth we will return the stone barn for a circle of sharing, as and if we each feel moved (in other words, if you don’t feel like speaking, it’s absolutely fine).
The labyrinth is a short walk from the barn through the woods along a flat trail. This is an opportunity to connect with nature and yourself with presence and awareness. The labyrinth in its wooded setting will invite you to remember who you really are and what is most important to you.
Please arrive by 12:25 PM. Dress appropriately for the weather, wear hiking boots, be prepared for mud and also be prepared for silence. If this is challenging for you, all the better. You will find loving support to be who and where you are.
Reach out with any questions at all.
Best for ages 17 and up (younger welcome if they are able to stay focused and maintain silence).
Event is by donation to support Sticks and Stones Farm and me (Uma Bode). Minimum donation of $10 requested, a greater donation is welcome. Parking is free at the Farm.
Tickets not required but please reserve a spot so I know how many to expect. If you can’t come, please release your spot. If you didn’t reserve a spot, come anyway.
This is a monthly event and the exact day will vary each month.
Also, a limited number of short tarot readings for $25 will be available after the walk. If you want one you can sign up at the event and/or contact me ahead of time.
